The Days of Peace & Music 🎶

The rock festival in Woodstock, in August 1969, turned out to be one of the most important events in musical history.
In total, 32 musicians and bands performed in front of almost half a million people during the four days of the event.

The promotional poster was designed by the graphic artist Arnold Skolnick.

Some of the most popular musicians at the time did not attend for various reasons; some refused, thinking that it wouldn’t be a significant enough event.
However, thanks to the very successful documentary about it, the festival became legendary, and it turned out to be important even for its most famous participants, as it introduced them to a broader international audience. At the same time, Woodstock was a breakthrough moment in the careers of several lesser-known musicians.

Hendrix’s closing two-hour concert is considered one of the greatest performances of the festival.

So let's remember in this thread the musicians who participated in Woodstock. All their songs are very welcome, not only the ones they presented at the festival.

Please, let's keep it light, bright and fun for all our visitors and friends from around the world!!

All our threads now stay open for as long as they are being used and enjoyed; you are welcome to stop by at any time.🌻
