Our Favourite Soundtracks! 🎶

Music is an integral part of films, series, and even video games; it underlines the mood and enhances the meaning of the scenes. Many times, instrumentals and songs are composed specifically for this purpose, and sometimes, existing compositions are used.

Some of the motion picture themes have become iconic, like the five-tone sequence from Close Encounters of the Third Kind, composed by John Williams.

Another of my favourites is Vangelis' entire score for the film Chariots of Fire.

And many times, original songs ended up being more popular than the films they were written for, like Nowhere Fast from Streets of Fire.

So, let’s remember our favourite soundtracks; old and new compositions, in any language and genre, are welcome as usual.
