Heartbreak Hotel and All That Followed!🎶

Seventy years ago, in January 1956, Elvis Presley released his first major hit, Heartbreak Hotel. What followed were two decades of a stellar musical career of this extraordinarily talented singer and performer who became a cultural phenomenon.

"The King of Rock and Roll", won numerous awards and honours as a musician and actor and still holds several records as one of the most popular performers of all time, including the Guinness World Record for Best-selling solo artist with 1 billion sales worldwide. He is also the first performer to have been inducted into three different major music Halls of Fame: the Rock and Roll, the Country Music, and the Gospel Music Halls of Fame.

Elvis inspired thousands of musicians, starting from his contemporaries, with his innovative blending of musical genres and his energetic stage persona. Many of them openly praised his talent and recognised his influence.

In another quote, Dylan said that Elvis recording one of his songs was the highlight of his career.
