Let's Enjoy Some Ballads!!🎶

In modern music, ballads are usually defined as slow, emotional songs, but they can explore other themes as well. And if we also think about ballads in their traditional meaning of narratives adapted for music, we can get a nice selection of music to enjoy in this thread, for the start of the year!!

Originals and covers, in all genres and languages, are very welcome as always in The Dog House!!

Ballads can often be sad, even tragic, I know, and although some of those are really beautifully composed, I prefer the uplifting ones!! 😁

My two songs for the start are the emotional Always and Forever, and A Spaceman Came Travelling, as an example of a more traditional, storytelling style.
