Happy Easter Weekend

Easter weekend is finally here.
It’s the most important time in the Christian calendar, and it is also a time for food, fun, and family gatherings.
I am not religious in any way, but I have had a hot cross bun today, and we will have roast lamb and some chocolate on Sunday.

Family gatherings were a big thing when I was younger, but we are scattered and fewer now, so that doesn’t happen, unless my birthday falls on Easter, as it did when I was born! I was an Easter Sunday baby. The doctor who had to come out for the home birth around lunchtime was really pleased with me! 😅

I confess to being an ear-biter myself where chocolate bunnies are concerned!
And even our dog has a couple of dog-safe carob Easter eggs to enjoy.
