Welcome to National Rock and Roll Day, and what a great day to celebrate.

This day was started in 2020 by Christine Alexander, to celebrate the influence and cultural significance of this great music.   It has been a big influence all over the world since it started way back in the mid 20th century.  It has, over the decades, reinvented itself  many times, but has always stuck to its core appeal. 

The genre started as a mix of musical styles, and brought to the world, legends such as  Elvis, Chuck Berry and the Beatles to name a few.  The genre of rock and roll just made us want to get up and dance and jump about, and gave us a feel good factor. 

So, today, post all things rock and roll related, and there is some wonderful music to be shared as well.
