It is the time of the year for flowers to be flowering well in your garden. Most flowers in the garden will cut, and look good in a vase, so you get the benefit of both, and vases of flowers around the house make it all very cheerful.  

The garden is at its best really in June, but things should be progressing nicely, flower-wise.  

Today, let's talk about flowers.
Do you grow them in the garden or buy them for vases in the house? It is a good idea if you have the time and space to grow your own flowers for the house, but not everybody has that.
